Synthetic lath made of extruded polymer strands in a honeycomb grid, used in place of metal lath to reinforce self-leveling underlayment or mortar beds. It is lightweight, self-furring and safe to handle without gloves, and it staples down over the primed subfloor.
What it’s used for
- Reinforcing self-leveler over substrates prone to movement
- Over primed plywood, concrete or gypsum
- Mortar bed reinforcement in place of metal lath
- Cracked or compromised subfloors
